Come into the Presence of the Lord by: Les D. Crause

A new day, and once more you face the future. Sometimes it looks bright, but there are times when the way is very dark, and you do not know which way to turn. At times like that you wish you could just arrange an interview with the Lord, and ask Him all the questions you have on
your heart. If you could arrange such an interview, what would you ask? What would you say to Him? Well the good news is that you do not have to hope and imagine that such a thing is possible. Because it is not only possible, but the Lord is waiting for you to do just that. He wants you to come into His presence and hear His voice.

Consider the star that shines brightly in the darkness of the night, breaking the darkness with its welcome light. As you look up your eyes are drawn to the beauty of the light, and you do not notice the darkness anymore. Yet the light of the star shines on night and day. It has been shining through the ages without ceasing. But you do not notice the star during the day. It is hidden by the brightness of the sun. And sometimes even at night it is not clearly visible when there are lights all around you. But come to a place that is devoid of light and filled with darkness, and suddenly it appears, sending forth its radiant beams of light for you.

My child I speak in your heart every minute of every day. And there in the darkness I shine my light for you, to give you comfort and strength and encouragement along the way. But you go
your way, most of the time not seeing nor hearing my inner voice. When you are surrounded by light you do not need it. When you hear my Word and sense my presence and anointing it seems unnecessary for you to listen to that inner voice, which is so small in comparison. And when
your way is lit by good things, somehow you do not see the need to draw aside with me into that secret place to hear and enjoy my presence within.

But when the way grows dark, then you begin to search for some light in the darkness. And like the human eye when it enters a dark room, you begin to hunt for that faintest glimmer of light on which to focus. And then suddenly you become aware of that light within. Suddenly you realize that I am to be found in a place that you did not expect me. For my presence is closer than breathing, nearer than a heartbeat. And yet so few there are who find me in that place of
inner solitude and peace.

But like the star that has shed its light for centuries, I have been there all along. I have been pouring forth my light, and speaking forth my love to you from the moment you invited me into your life. And all you need to do to behold my beauty is to come aside from the lights of the world around you, and enter into that place of solitude with me. And there you will find me waiting
for you. And you will see that I am ready to share with you, and light your way, and lift you up. Until the darkness is over, and you can once again face the day ahead.

Why not take some time to come into the presence of the Lord. Do as Jesus did each day before He began His work. He went aside to spend time alone with the Father and to receive directions for the day that lay ahead. You can do it too. All you need to do is turn off all the bright lights around you that distract you from that still small voice that speaks deep within each one. You will be amazed what you will hear if you take the time to listen....

When Plans Fall Flat by: Les D. Crause

I know what it is like to really try at something and just come up unstuck; when all the plans I made fall flat. I guess it is the Lord's way of making me realize that I can do nothing without His direction and strength. And so today I want to share that lesson with you.

Child you are stumbling in the dark and you keep falling and hurting yourself, says the Lord. Yet right there behind you is the light to lead your way. But you persist in driving deeper into the dark, and in so doing hurting yourself over and over again.

Was there anything child, that you have successfully accomplished in yourself?
Was there at any time, a plan that you completed and a level that you achieved in your own strength? Have you ever in yourself made one of your dreams come true? When you lie in bed and dream of things to come, do you really think they will come to pass? No. Rather you hope they will, but knowing inside that the possibility is slim. I can give you that assurance if you would just take it. Can you not see that I can give you those dreams in your hand? Can you not see that I will bring all these things to pass in your life - if only you would take my hand?

Child, I desire not to take from you, but rather I come with a heart to give. I shed tears on your pain and I long to comfort you when you are all alone. When you are lonely you turn to so many other things in the hope that they will fullfil. And yes, for a time they do, and then they go, and you find that the loneliness did not leave, but rather was just covered for a time. Why won't you let me fill you so that you are full to overflowing?

My precious, do you not know that I cry for you? Do you not know that when you fall I weep at how you hurt? Please child let me help you. Let me lift you up. Let me lead your hand to the light, where everything makes sense and you can see your way clear. There is nothing now on your path except a greater darkness and a greater loss. What do you have to lose by taking my hand? What have you lose, except your loneliness and your frustration and your aimlessness?

You think I come to take from you, but my child, I want to add to you that boldness you seek and that affirmation you seek. I can and want to give you all these things, but it is for you to take, for you to decide. I will not push myself on you or force you to have what I have to offer. But remember my little one. When the night is dark and when the way is tough - remember, and when you graze your knee - remember, and when you are lost and alone - remember. Remember I am right there at your side, ready to catch you should you decide to fall into my arms.

Your nights are not alone, for I am there. Your way is not lost, for I am there, Your mind can be made clear, because I am there. Whether you want me there or not matters nothing, for I am always there, wanting to hold you, wanting to love you, wanting to make your way free.

The Lord is with you no matter what you do - whether you are having fun, or just settling down to bed. And He is but a prayer away when you think that you are falling.

A Heart After You

Create in me a new heart,
One that follows You.
Place in me a deep desire,
To know You as I'm known.

Set my feet in Your ways,
To live worthy of Your call.
Draw me near to You Lord,
Every single day.

I just want to be more like You
Walk with You beside me.
Lord, won't You be my guide,
Place Your heart inside my soul.
A heart that's ever true,
One that's after You.

All I desire, a heart after You.
All I desire, a heart after You.

Follow God wholeheartedly - July 26, 2009

On the Road to Victory by: Colette Toach

I know that sometimes your life can seem to be a never-ending struggle, where everything you do seems an effort. Then as if that isn't bad enough, you feel that in the middle of it you should be doing more, yet instead you are failing hopelessly. I want to encourage you today. The Lord has a plan for you and He is not about to let you go. You are just getting more equipped for what He has in store for you.<>~<0>~<>I know that everything is going against you says the Lord.. You think that you are going to fall under this pressure and you just feel like throwing your arms in the air and giving up. Press on child, for I am there with you. I am there encouraging you. For although this time appears so hard and the end so far, it is almost at an end! Only when you rise out of this, will you be able to see the strength you have gained. For as an athlete trains to be fit, so have I trained you says the Lord. I have taken you through obstacle course after obstacle course, and behold you have passed each one. But now you fear that you will fail me, that this one is too much for you. My precious child, I would not have brought you this way had I not thought that you could overcome. Rise up now in my strength. Rise up in my joy for you have indeed grown through this time. You have indeed overcome the enemy, and it is a lie that you are defeated. Rise now and take your throne for you indeed will rule and reign with me. I have given you power in the name of Jesus. Stand on that right now and overcome this time of trial. Overcome this obstacle and then your heart will thrill and rejoice! You will raise your eyes round about and see how they gather together, how they come to you and how every need is met. Every desire will be met and every fear will be dispelled. Every good thing will follow your way, and you will indeed walk in the blessing I have set up for you. But for now my little one, take your strength in me. Let me help you over this one and let us walk into victory together.

THE ARROW OF GOD by: Les D. Crause

As an archer places his arrow into his bow and launches it out against the target, so I would do with you. I want to use you to destroy the enemies of my Kingdom. I want to use you to capture the prey. I want to use you to defend my Body from harm and attack. But there are some important conditions that need to be met. For the archer does not use any arrow to do his work. His arrows are hand picked and have been prepared carefully for use. They have been made from green branches that have been stripped of their bark and left to dry in the sun. They have been kept straight so that they can fly straight and hit their target. For how can an arrow hit its target if it is bent? And as the archer prepares different arrows for different tasks, so I am preparing you for the task that I have in mind for you. For you are a very special arrow to me, and I have gone to a lot of trouble to prepare you for my use. It hurts when the bark is removed from the green branch. It hurts when the wet stick is allowed to dry in the sun. It hurts when the arrow is stretched under pressure as it dries, to prevent it from curling or bending. It hurts when it is cut and carved and shaped into a weapon of war. But look at the end result. It is an arrow that the archer can be proud of! It is a weapon of war. It flies proudly through the air and finds its target. And all the pain of preparation is forgotten. Will you be my arrow? Are you prepared to submit yourself to the arduous preparation of one who is to be my instrument of war? The price is great, but oh how wonderful the end result! How marvelous it is when I fit you into my bow and send you forth in flight to do my work.

Thought: Are you more than willing to be THE ARROW OF GOD this CONQUEST???

"Whatever you sow, that, shall you also reap."

I have read this story several times and yet even up to now when I read it, it gives such hope and encouragement to the weary, the needy and those who seem to have lost hope in life. I love this story believing that God has ways to move in our midst mysteriously………….The man slowly looked up. This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before. "Leave me alone," he growled...To his amazement, the woman continued standing. She was smiling – her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. "Are you hungry?" she asked. "No," he answered sarcastically. "I've just come from dining with the president. Now go away." The woman's smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm. "What are you doing, lady?" the man asked angrily. "I said to leave me alone. Just then a policeman came up. "Is there any problem, ma'am?" he asked... "No problem here, officer," the woman answered. "I'm just trying to get this man to his feet. Will you help me?" The officer scratched his head. "That's old Jack. He's been a fixture around here for a couple of years. What do you want with him?" "See that cafeteria over there?" she asked. "I'm going to get him something to eat and get him out of the cold for awhile." "Are you crazy, lady?" the homeless man resisted. "I don't want to go in there!" Then he felt strong hands grab his other arm and lift him up. "Let me go, officer. I didn't do anything.""This is a good deal for you, Jack," the officer answered. "Don't blow it."Finally, and with some difficulty, the woman and the police officer got Jack into the cafeteria and sat him at a table in a remote corner. It was the middle of the morning, so most of the breakfast crowd had already left and the lunch bunch had not yet arrived. The manager strode across the cafeteria and stood by his table. "What's going on here, officer?" he asked. "What is all this, is this man in trouble?" "This lady brought this man in here to be fed," the policeman answered. "Not in here!" the manager replied angrily. "Having a person like that here is bad for business." Old Jack smiled a toothless grin. "See, lady. I told you so. Now if you'll let me go. I didn't want to come here in the first place." The woman turned to the cafeteria manager and smiled. "Sir, are you familiar with Eddy and Associates, the banking firm down the street?" "Of course I am," the manager answered impatiently. "They hold their weekly meetings in one of my banquet rooms." "And do you make a goodly amount of money providing food at these weekly meetings?" "What business is that of yours?" I, sir, am Penelope Eddy, president and CEO of the company." "Oh." The woman smiled again. "I thought that might make a difference." She glanced at the cop who was busy stifling a giggle. "Would you like to join us in a cup of coffee and a meal, officer?" "No thanks, ma'am," the officer replied. "I'm on duty." "Then, perhaps, a cup of coffee to go?" "Yes, ma'am. That would be very nice." The cafeteria manager turned on his heel, "I'll get your coffee for you right away, officer. "The officer watched him walk away. "You certainly put him in his place," he said. "That was not my intent. Believe it or not, I have a reason for all this." She sat down at the table across from her amazed dinner guest She stared at him intently. "Jack, do you remember me?" Old Jack searched her face with his old, rheumy eyes "I think so -- I mean you do look familiar." "I'm a little older perhaps," she said. "Maybe I've even filled out more than in my younger days when you worked here, and I came through that very door, cold and hungry." "Ma'am?" the officer said questioningly. He couldn't believe that such a magnificently turned out woman could ever have been hungry. "I was just out of college," the woman began. "I had come to the city looking for a job, but I couldn't find anything. Finally I was down to my last few cents and had been kicked out of my apartment.. I walked the streets for days. It was February and I was cold and nearly starving. I saw this place and walked in on the off chance that I could get something to eat." Jack lit up with a smile. "Now I remember," he said. "I was behind the serving counter. You came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company policy." "I know," the woman continued.. "Then you made me the biggest roast beef sandwich that I had ever seen, gave me a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it.. I was afraid that you would get into trouble. Then when I looked over, I saw you put the price of my food in the cash register I knew then that everything would be all right." "So you started your own business?" Old Jack said. "I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. Eventually I started my own business that, with the help of God, prospered." She opened her purse and pulled out a business card. "When you are finished here, I want you to pay a visit to a Mr.. Lyons. He's the personnel director of my company. I'll go talk to him now and I'm certain he'll find something for you to do around the office." She smiled. "I think he might even find the funds to give you a little advance so that you can buy some clothes and get a place to live until you get on your feet. If you ever need anything, my door is always opened to you." There were tears in the old man's eyes. "How can I ever thank you?" he said. "Don't thank me," the woman answered. "To God goes the glory. Thank Jesus... He led me to you."
Outside the cafeteria, the officer and the woman paused at the entrance before going their separate ways". Thank you for all your help, officer," she said. "On the contrary, Ms. Eddy," he answered. "Thank you. I saw a miracle today, something that I will never forget. And thank you for the coffee." If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing. If you have missed some of my emails, you might have missed a laugh.. But, if you have missed knowing my LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, you have missed everything in the world. Have a Wonderful Day.. May God Bless You Always. And don't forget that when you "cast your bread upon the waters," you never know how it will be returned to you. God is so big He can cover the whole world with his Love and so small He can curl up inside your heart. When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly! The power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor.God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close.. If you need God to open some doors for you... all you need is ask Him. Have a blessed day and remember to be a blessing ... Have a blessed Day!

Bring back the PASSION!

G12 Mentoring with Ptr. Oriel

PASSION

What is passion?

--it is the strongest God-given emotion

Example: John F. Kennedy

When JFK said “We will send men to moon!” no one believed him. In those days, even fluorescent lamp is still a dream. And so no one had the slightest faith that what JFK will happen. But by 1964, man landed on the moon. The impossible suddenly became a fact. All because JFK had the passion for his dream—he did everything in his power to make his dream come true. Because he had PASSION.

· If you do not have the passion, you don’t have the fire!

· PASSION WILL RULE AND OVERCOME!

--this is because passion belongs to great men! To people who dream [and believe] the impossible.

· Passion will make the difficult easy!

· Passion will make the impossible possible!

AND GOD”S POWER RESIDES IN OUR PASSION!

If we increase our passion, we increase our power!

** WE HAVE TO RESTORE PASSION IN THE CHURCH!

- Thus, we should know and believe that every Filipino is a gift of God to the world.

- The Filipino people have a destiny to fulfill!

è To restore the passion in the church

Ø A church that exists to change the nation!

§ This is a new season, new seed! And as Christians, we have the responsibility to plant the new seed.

Joel 2 : 28 –in the last days, I will pour out the Spirit to all men

In this generation, we have to “REFIRE” NOT “RETIRE!”

+ The season with NEW PASSION!

§ New season, NEW ATMOSPHERE= NEW SEED

- Time to change and sow!

§ NEW SEED PLANTED= NEW HARVEST

- This is our turn! WE WILL POSSESS THE LAND!

FOUR (4) REASONS WHY THE CHURCH LOST ITS PASSION

1. WE MAKE THE EXTRAORDINARY, ORDINARY.

Ex. Loving souls

- Soul winning is so important to God, but we make it ordinary.

Ø Start showing you passion in the family.

- If you can’t, you cannot show the passion in the church.

Ø RESTORE YOUR PASSION IN THE FAMILY.

2. WE DEMOTE GOD

- We keep on challenging God.

- We become the master; and Him the servant.

· We may not deny God but we demote Him. This is the most subtle deception of the devil regarding our faith!

- When you are commanded something and you struggle, something is wrong in the throne!

- If we demote God, we lose the passion.

· God is the owner! We are only His stewards (manager).

Example: John the Baptist

n We should decrease, and God, increase!

Our Work: we humble ourselves before God

God’s work: He lifts us up (IF we are humble)

** WAG KANG MAGMAMALAKI!

If you forget this, God will do your work! He will demote you!

3. WE PROMOTE OURSELVES

** DON’T EVER PROMOTE YOURSELF!

n Promotions belong to the Lord

n “Jealousy” is our wrong address.

4. WE ENTERTAIN THE “ICE-MAN”

- We are surrounded by people who lack passion!

- If you always entertain passionless people in your lives, then you will lose the fire!

n This can only be helped by ATTACKING THE HEART OF THE PROBLEM.

- When you are being attacked, THANK GOD! Because it’s a sign that you are really an enemy to the devil.

HOW TO HAVE PASSION?

1. Find your “fireplace.”

- It takes another fire to produce another fire.

- Fire comes from GOD!

( GOD is the God of consuming fire!)

FIREPLACES—“May lugar ng apuyan”

1. Devotion Life

2. Cellgroup

3. Sunday Service (Word of God)

4. PEPSOL Training

Extra:G12 Mentoring Centers, G12 Conferences

· RECOVER THE ADDRESS OF YOUR FIREPLACES!

3 Kinds of Fire

1. Apoy ni Lola—“no fire, only smoke”

2. Apoy ng Kandila—“small; attracking insects kind of fire”

3. Large Fire—“Wild Fire”

--attracts people

n FIRE ATTRACTS!

n YOU ATTRACT WHO YOU ARE!

2. FIND YOUR “FIRE-MAN”

- Man of fire

- Claim double portion of your fire-man’s fire!

Example: Apostle Paul

Acts 19:11 “God did extraordinary things through Paul!”

WHY?

Because of Paul’s PASSION!

- The more you release the passion, the more your power is released!

- Kaya walang narerelease the power, kasi walang narerelease the passion!

-- GOD IS LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO CAN MATCH THE PASSION INSIDE HIS OWN HEART!

> Sabayan mo si Lord!

-- The more you increase in passion, the more GOD WILL INCREASE THE POWER!

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WHEN THERE IS A BURNING PASSION!

PASSION DESTROYS THE IMPOSSIBLE.

§ PASSION and POWER cannot be separated from one another.

3 Components of Fire (Galatians 2:20)

1. Every fire needs FUEL. --Us

2. IGNITER – GOD

3. OXYGEN – Holy Spirit

· Only God can start the fire.

· The fuel is a must!

--must be like a fossil fuel—the longer they have died; the better they burn!

· A DEAD MAN IS THE BEST FUEL!

DIE IN YOURSELF AND HAVE PASSION!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must - but don't you quit.
Life is queer with it's twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out,
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow ..
You might succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And her learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out.
The silver tint to the clouds of doubt -
And you can never tell how close you are,
It mat appear when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It when things seem worst that you mustn't quit !

I know that sometimes your life can seem to be a never-ending struggle, where everything you

The Lord has a plan for you and He is not about to let you go. You are just getting more

I know that everything is going against you says the Lord.. You think that you are going to

fall under this pressure and you just feel like throwing your arms in the air and giving up.

Press on child, for I am there with you. I am there encouraging you. For although this time

will you be able to see the strength you have gained.

For as an athlete trains to be fit, so have I trained you says the Lord. I have taken you

Expect The Unexpected

God has been dealing with my "people pleaser" attitude since last month. There are a lot of incidents that tested me -- one even made me cry, but thank God! He still forgave me and I really learned from it! (O well, back to main topic) Ever since childhood I've been trained not to offend anybody, I'm bothered everytime someone is angry or mad at me and to cope up with that I see to it that I please everybody. I thought all along that what I'm doing is right, until I realized that I'm pleasing other people just to spare myself from humiliation. I never wanted to place myself in an awkward situation because I might be shamed. I'm a church kid and yet it seems that it is just now that I'm really born again. More than 18 years of my life was been spent uplifting myself; but now, I feel like that I'm born again 'again'. God taught me how to be a 'GOD pleaser' rather than 'people pleaser' through my experiences and devotions.

Just this week, Monday my revelation was on Joshua 1:7 'Be strong and courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left that you may be successful wherever you go.' I believe that God is telling me to be strong and courageous in winning the lost and consolidating them. And the application I wrote on my journal was... "I'll be courageous!! I'll start a bible study in our dorm" but those words just stayed in my journal, I never did anything that day and even the following day. I didn't took the courage and initiative to ask my friends if they're free and if they can have fellowship with me -- I've been deceived that they're busy and they won't have time for that! I even thought that they may find 'me' weird. BUT I believe that God has a plan because my devotion last Wednesday was unusual (I felt that God is 'literally' speaking to me) and its written on Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." I was really shocked when I read that and I remembered my devotion last Monday, it's almost the same, but this time God is 'reminding' me to obey His command. And right after I finished my devotion, I immediately texted my friends and to my surprise most of them agreed!! God really moves!!

After class, I prepared for our fellowship, I bought food even if it is out of my budget. Though I spent a lot this week, I'm once again surprised that I still have a lot of extra money, beyond what I expected!! It's God's grace and miracle I believe :D

During our fellowship, I was really glad that they were very receptive and participative! One of them (attended our cg last summer, I taught her how to do her devotion) even shared how much she enjoys her devotion which encouraged the others to do the same. After our fellowship one of my friend texted me that she just finished doing her first devotion and she felt light and glad! I'm really amazed!! God will really help us whenever He commanded us to do something. They even asked me to inform them early next week so that they can fix their schedule. (We planned to have our cellgroup every week! God is at work in ourlives :D) One of them even asked me if she can bring her friend over!! I was really amazed with their response!! :)

God proved to me and made me realized that I musn't worry about what other people may think of me. Others may find me weird, others may find it boring, but if we'll entrust everything up to Him, if we'll obey His commands, If we'll die to our flesh and forget all the humiliation... HE will surely BLESS US for He was pleased with our OBEDIENCE. :D

Let us not be deceived by the ENEMY!!! God can remove all hindrances just like what HE did in the Red Sea and Jordan River for us to achieve our promise land. If God is leading us towards our multitude, let's fight and win this battle!! For our Lord will be with us wherever we'll go!!

I encourage each and everyone to start reading and applying God's word for you will surely feel a different kind of gladness and blessings will just pour down on you unexpectedly. Let's conquer this BATTLE!! LET'S PLEASE GOD and EXPECT the UNEXPECTED! :) God bless!!
