Speak to the Mountain by Les D. Crause

As the arrow that is sent forth from the bow of the mighty warrior, so are the words that you send forth in my name. For they shall go forth and accomplish that for which they were sent. And they will not return to you empty, without accomplishing what they were sent for.

If my children only knew the power that was available to them in the words that they speak. For how often have you stood by helplessly and watched someone suffer, thinking that there was nothing you could do to help. And when you could, you would try to comfort with words. You would try to give advice with words to ease the pain. You would do your best to express what is in your heart, since this is all you have to give.

But you have so much more to give! The Son of Man spoke words of comfort to those who were suffering. But He also spoke words of command to the forces that came against them. He spoke to the demons and told them to go. He spoke to the winds and the waves and told them to cease. He spoke to the fig tree and told it to die. He spoke to sickness and disease and told it to go. He spoke to the dead body and made it come to life.

Did I not say that the works that I do, you would also do, and even greater ones when I go to the Father? Did I not say that if you speak to the mountain and tell it to be cast into the sea, and do not doubt, you will see your words being obeyed? Yet you fail to speak out as I told you to. You wait for me to do it for you. And I will gladly do it for you, but I have no lips in the earth to do it except yours. I can give you the words, but unless you speak them forth, the power that is in them cannot be released.

So rise up now and be bold in me. Learn to hear my voice and receive my words in your heart. But then take your stand before the mountain that faces you right now. And open your mouth wide, and send forth those words into the earth. Speak to the mountain and tell it to be removed. For until you take that step, I am powerless to move the mountain for you.
