HOW TO WIN IN LIFE
Exo 17:15 Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner.
(KJV) And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
(CEV) Moses built an altar and named it "The LORD Gives Me Victory."
(cjb) Moshe built an altar, called it ADONAINissi [ADONAI is my banner/miracle],
(the Complete Jewish Bible)
text:EPHESIANS 6:10
NIV:"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power."
TMSG:"And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong."
AMP:"In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him];
draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
GNB:"Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his
mighty power."
ALT:"Finally my brothers [and sisters], continue becoming strong in [the] Lord and
in the might of His strength."(Analytical Literal Translation)
WINNERS ARE STRONG. THEY ARE STRONG IN THE LORD
TRUTHS:
1.Important teaching at the conclusion of the book
2.This is a command: to be strong in the Lord
3.Only the strong win the battles
4.Strength from the Lord is the only strenght that can bring you WINS in battles in life
5.Strength of the Lord can be drawn primarily through your devotion (only 1/10 do the devotion)
>Do your one hour devotion consistently
Amp- draw your strenth from Him
>The battle vs the Amalek in Exo 17 was won throgh the prayer of Moses
Exo 17:9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some of our men and go out to fight the
Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands."
Exo 17:10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur
went to the top of the hill.
Exo 17:11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but wheneve
he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning.
Exo 17:12 When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat
on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his
hands remained steady till sunset.
Exo 17:13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
6. The secret is CONSISTENT DAILY DEVOTION. CONSISTENT!
bE COMMITTED to consistent devotion
ALT:"Finally my brothers [and sisters], continue becoming strong in [the] Lord and
in the might of His strength."(Analytical Literal Translation)
7. Seek the cooperation and support of family
ask family of their journal revelation
illus: Joyce Meyer does tell her kids to not complain when she spends time with God
8. Be accountable to your leader
Pay the fine willingly
9. Share to cell your journal revelation
Exo 17:14 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this on a scroll as something to be
remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out
the memory of Amalek from under heaven."
Conc: this is the most impt thing you must do to WIN THE BATTLES in your life!

A Sweet Answer for a Sweet Soul
Sometimes, God checks our lives with the lives of others and makes us focus less on our needs but on the needs of others who are needing much our prayer supports. Let us not fix our eyes on the things of this world, but on the things that matters most....that is living more and loving more the people of God.
Olga Sto. Domingo

My Revelation from God..
Psalms 66:19
" But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayers."
God listens to our prayers.. God hears us..
If you feel that sometimes God is not listening to your prayers, just remember this verse.. Psalms 66:19 and Mark 11:24...
Just always trust and believe =)
there's an appropriate time, ( a perfect time) for everything.
God always prepares the best for us..

DROWNING MEN
1 Cor 3:8 "The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor." Walking through the forest, a seasoned hiker came upon a broad, slowly moving river. He stopped to gaze over the waters, appreciating the beauty, when suddenly he heard a faint cry coming from upstream. Looking in the direction of the noise, he saw an obviously drowning man floundering in the river and drifting slowly toward him. |
The hiker was stunned momentarily, but he sprang into action when he saw the man disappear beneath the waters. Throwing off all of his cumbersome gear, he dove into the river and swam like a madman toward the spot where the man went under.
Upon reaching the spot he plunged below the surface and frantically
hauled up the helpless man. He then laboriously towed the victim to shore.
Heaving the lifeless body up on the riverbank, the hiker attempted to revive
the man, who eventually spit up water and began to breathe.
Relieved, the hiker paused to catch his breath. But no sooner had he done so than he heard another voice out on the water. Another drowning person!
Once again he swam out and pulled the person to shore, a little more slowly this time. As the hiker-turned lifeguard revived the second victim, he heard yet another cry for help.
All day long the hiker worked, rescuing one person after another as they came drifting down the river. There seemed to be no end of drowning victims, and the hiker didn't think he could keep it up.
Just when he was about to collapse from exhaustion, he spotted another man walking rapidly beside the river, headed upstream. "Hey mister!" he cried out. "Please help me! These poor people are drowning!" Amazingly, the man kept walking upstream. The astonished hiker called out again. Without even acknowledging the cry, the man kept going. Indignant and angry, the hiker leapt to his feet, ran toward the seemingly uncompassionate man, stood directly in his path, and in a loud voice demanded, "Sir! How can you possibly walk past all these drowning people? Have you no conscience? Must I force you to help me save these people?"
The stranger stopped, looked at him for the first time and said with a calm,
focused voice, "Sir, please get out of my way. I am headed upstream to stop the guy who is pushing all these people in."
Each of us has a role to play in rescuing those who are drowning in sin.
Some of us pull people from the water and resuscitate them with counseling, food and shelter, a rehabilitation program, a support group, or financial aid. Affirm those doing these important ministries. Others of us find our place of ministry upstream, opposing the one pushing people into the river. We do this by introducing those people to Jesus Christ. Knowing Christ sets a person free from sin and releases them from Satan's power over them. By itself, pulling people from the water isn't enough. We need to help people deal with the problem of sin at its source.

"Citizens of Heaven"
Christians are far distinguished from other men;
Little did others know: The Holy Spirit speaks in them.
Christians are different in a way others should understand
not because the language they employ nor through traditions
they observe. For they do not live in the city of their own
Or live out of individuality. And yes, they are in the flesh;
But they do not live to satisfy the desires of their flesh.
They pass their days here on earth, but they are
Citizens of Heaven. And people can have all the things
in this world can offer, But Christians know, these things doesn't
really matter.
One day, the sun will forget to shine;
And the world will melt like a snow.
But what matters most is what is eternal.
After all Christians are far distinguished from other men;
Little did others knows the HOLY SPIRIT is in them.

A Role to Play
According to Miles Monroe, an anointed speaker and writer, an average person has 500-700 potentials. Ngayon naman 7 frames of intelligence. Kung may 700 potentials divided by 7 intelligence is equal to ... (carry 1, borrow 4, remainder 3, haha) tama 100. An ability is in fact a combination of 2 or more intelligence, pero meron isa doon na dominant. Kaya let us assume na may 100 abilities bawat category (pero di ko naman ililista yung 100, mga ilan lang, dami noon eh, hehehe…) and let us try to use them as a guide para makita mga potential natin at paano natin magagamit para sa ministry sa church.
Musical Intelligence
Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence
Ang mga abilitad na ito ay tumutukoy sa mahusay na pagkontrol ng katawan tulad ng mga atleta at mga sumasayaw (dancer sa pnw team), but more than that these people are also good in fixing things, mime and acting and even cooking.
Spatial Intelligence
These people with strength in spatial intelligence think in images and pictures. Oo meron! may promo team tayo.
Nadedeliver nila ng maayos ang mga thoughts, ideas, opinions nila ng maayos through writing and even through speaking.
Intrapersonal Intelligence
Pero sabi nga “leaders are not born, they are made” at lahat tayo soul winners at consolidators. – we can do all things through Christ who gives us the strength (Philippians 4:13) Madalas kung sino ang mga mahiyain sila ang ginagamit ng Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 “…He chose the lowly things of this world… …so that no one may boast….”
1 Corinthians 12:14-19. Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
We belong to one body, the body of Christ and we have a role to play, let that potentials become abilities and use them for the glory of God. Kaya praise God kung meron ka ng ministry! pero kung wala pa just approach the Ministry Heads.
God bless you!!!
Carl Romero
“Grow Up!”
Anyone who lives in milk is still a baby. That person does not want to learn about living a godly life. Solid food is for those who are grown up. They have trained themselves with a lot of practice. They can tell the difference between good and evil.
(Hebrews 5:13 – 14)
Do you want to grow up and eat the right food?
When you are a very small baby, you drank only milk.
When you grew teeth, you began to eat crackers and baby food. And now that you are big, you can eat almost everything!
In the Christian faith, there are those who are called the “baby Christians.” They are the ones who’re just starting to learn about Jesus and the Bible. They drink “milk”.
They are the ones who try to learn everything they can about Jesus by being fed and monitored by their mentors. They try to practice in doing what is right in the sight of the Lord. By doing so, they grow to be big, and strong Christians!
Then, there are those Christians who are more grown up than others. They know a lot about Jesus. They practice obeying Him. And they can lead for the Lord. They are the ones who eat “solid food”.
They are those who seek God and ask more of Him, but they don’t rely heavily on others anymore to feed them the Word. They seek the Lord by standing on their own two feet.
Now, Ask Yourself: What if after many years of being a member in a Christian Church, you’re still one of the baby Christians who want spoon-feeding when it comes to the ways of the Lord? What are you going to feel? Will you be happy in watching kids grow in their spiritual lives faster than you do? Does it bother you at all?
Or you will simply say, “Okay lang ‘yan magiging leader din naman ako pag katapos ng ilang taon—pag handa na ‘ko” without exerting any effort at all? Without showing any passion at all? When will you ever be ready?
Or
Will you ask yourself, “What happened? Bakit nandito palang ako hanggang ngayon? Bakit hindi ako naggo-grow sa aking Christian life?” and proceed in finding out what is wrong, why is it that after many years of being a Christian you are still a baby in your faith? Will you even seek the answers to your questions? Will you leave your comfort zone behind and advance to the next level that God has prepared for your long time ago? Will you ever intend to GROW UP?
“Are you willing to take the challenge and leave your comfort zone behind to take that one big step forward to seek the promises of God in your life?”
GROW UP. GROW UP. AND LET GOD REIGN IN YOUR LIFE.
