The Lord is a consuming fire and a raging river. He wants to turn your little stream into a gushing waterfall, if only you would just give Him that part of your heart you hold closed. Today I want to encourage you that no matter who you are and what you think you can't do, the Lord has so much He wants to pour on you. As water from a waterfall falls all the time, never running dry, so is my Spirit says the Lord. For you fear that one morning you will wake and would have lost what I have given you, so you hold tightly onto the little puddle you have. Yet child I desire to give you so much more. Would you sacrifice to me your little pool, that I may turn it to a raging waterfall?You fear to just let go and embrace my promises. You fear I will let you down and you will walk away disappointed. Child I never disappoint! No, rather I want to increase your measure. I want to increase your blessing, and I want to increase it so that you may pour it out to others. For it burns in you to minister to the lost and it burns in you to minister to the hurt. But you hold yourself tight, not letting go, that I may bless you, and that I might loosen your bonds and set you free.Let go of all now. Forget what you might lose and turn your eyes to your greater reward - me, your Heavenly Father that gives above all you may ask or think. Embrace me now child and lose yourself in my arms. Lose yourself in abandon to what I want to do in you. Let go of all your pain and all your hurt, for when you open the doors wide, I will come in and bring my power, bring my light and my everlasting peace.Cry my tears and sing my songs, weep my grief and dance my joy. I want to show you all these things. I want you to revel in my joy, and I want to share my heart with you. I want to show to you the hidden secrets of my mind and my Body. But yet before I can do all these things, so I will need you to open your heart, I will need your heart free of walls and free of barriers, that I may use it and change it and make it into something beautiful. Let go and just dive in now. Lose yourself in the presence of your Father. He has only good things and blessing for you. He wants to do so much in your life, if you give Him the chance.
